Our Mission

The Mission of the California NEW PATHS is to strengthen the Human Services Professional through education, collaboration and the promotion of growth and development.

Our Purpose

The California NEW PATHS, as a professional and training organization, has the role of establishing standards of ethical conduct for Human Services professionals in California. This organization represents the combined professional judgments of all its members.

It is our purpose to:

• ​Focus on California specific concerns for Human Services Professionals
• ​Promote professional identity and integrity
• ​Set, maintain, and exemplify professional standards and ethics
• ​Provide a professional networking arena for Human Services Professionals
• ​Encourage and sponsor professional education
• ​Encourage and support local chapters in California​
